Ted Grand created the Moksha Yoga sequence by drawing upon his many years of yoga experience and more than one thousand hours of training in yoga therapy, yoga teaching, and traditional yoga. Approaching this task with patience and tireless research, he modified the sequence based on the opinions of a wide range of experts and peers in the yoga community. He has taken teacher training in Yoga Therapy, Traditional Yoga, Hot Yoga and Advanced Teaching Techniques. Ted feels very strongly that yoga is a vehicle for becoming more socially engaged and compassionate. More yoga tends to bring more peace. More peace can help us make better decisions. Better decisions make a more healthy, equitable and sustainable world.
Ted loves to support both beginners and experienced students by helping them find a practice that is inspired, intelligent and fun. His love for the practice is infectious and can be felt in each and every class he teaches. Ted is also a proud husband and father, an organic farmer, and an environmental/social activist.
