What People Are Saying

test3 image description

When I started yoga in my early twenties it added zest, colour, and magic to my daily life as well as added flexibility in my body. Later on in my twenties I sort of lost yoga to university, relationships, work and so on and so forth. As a result I started to lose sight of the magic and beauty that is around us everyday. Signing up and committing to the Moksha/Modo Teacher Training in Nicaragua was the best decision I have made in the last 10 years since first stepping onto the mat. The training like an ocean wave smashed that beauty back into my life.

Speak Your Peace 2015
08/01/2015 — 09/30/2015

Inspired by Amnesty International’s symbol (a candle wrapped in barbed wire) and their work for human rights, the first 7 Moksha studios celebrated International Human Rights Day with a candle lit class in 2004... and SPEAK YOUR PEACE was born. The day we celebrate and the organization we support has since changed, but our intention remains the same – to REACH OUT and effect positive change, by lending our community strength to an organization that aligns with our 7 Pillars and is doing extraordinary things in the world.

This year, through the donation of our August and September Karma Class funds, a Candlelit Karma Class held on International Day of Peace (September 21st), and community-inspired events and fundraisers, we offer our collective support to Pull-Together.ca.

Our intention is to raise $65,000 by the end of September.
